The Bledsoe Sport & Sport Max patellofemoral knee braces are designed for very mild meniscal and/or collateral injuries. Patients with minor knee ligament strains and stretches or meniscal damage can benefit from added support to prevent more serious injury. Bledsoe offers four brace designs to provide the right kind of support for these very mild instabilities. In addition, Sport Max may also be appropriate for combined instabilities involving stretched cruciate ligaments.

The Sport and Sport Max feature a durable neoprene sleeve and pull tabs for easy "pull on" application and comfort.

The Sport Front Closure and Sport Max Front Closure feature a wrap around front closure style which allows easier application and adjustable tension.

The Bledsoe Sport & Sport Max knee braces combine the use of a dual offset hinge with straps and a durable neoprene. The surface contact area of the neoprene provides warmth to the injured area as well as biofeedback to enhance proprioception and joint position sense. The Sport Max braces provide added support through the three-point leverage of the straps and hinge.

Indications
This device is indicated for mild sprains of the medial or lateral collateral ligaments, mild injuries of the menisci, or mild injuries to the patellar retinaculum, to provide increased support, compression and warmth, and aid in proprioception. Patellar Buttress - Indicated to help control patellar tracking and aid proprioception.

Contraindications
This device is contraindicated for injured or reconstructed knees that have moderate to severe instability.
